Chelsea are also monitoring the England international, who is banned from football until January 16 after he breached the FA's betting rules, and he is out of contract at the end of next season.

    Brentford remain reluctant to lose Toney, and have subsequently placed a large valuation on the striker's head. He scored 20 league goals last season, only behind Erling Haaland and Harry Kane.
